The AML policy states that deposits scoring above 40 percent risk, or carrying any of eighteen labels including mixing, gambling and sanctions, may be frozen for an indefinite period until full identity verification is completed. Verification requires a passport or ID photo, a selfie holding that document with the current date handwritten, and screenshots of correspondence with whoever sent the funds. Assets are forfeited entirely if the user does not answer the compliance officer within thirty calendar days. Source: quickex.io/docs/aml-policy sections 2, 3 and 6

Even after a user passes the AML and KYC verification, the third-party liquidity provider retains the right to refuse paying out the frozen funds, and no return is possible where an authority has requested the assets or any department in any jurisdiction has imposed a seizure. A successful verification also carries a five percent commission on the refund, and high-risk transactions may be charged a further surcharge of up to five percent. Privacy tooling is explicitly targeted. The policy names Tornado Cash, ChipMixer, Blender.io, Hydra, Garantex, Lazarus Group and Genesis Market as automatic blocks, and lists Wasabi Wallet, JoinMarket, Railgun, FreeWallet and Nobitex as high risk whose linked transactions may fall under AML blocking. Multiple reviewers report CoinJoin and Litecoin MWEB history triggering freezes on otherwise clean funds. The terms also prohibit proxies and VPNs. Partially resolved
A reviewer reported 9.5 ETH flagged over an alleged link to the SwissBorg hack and blocked for five months, with the operator confirming it must comply with the liquidity provider policy and awaiting law enforcement direction. A separate April case saw an ETH to XMR order frozen, a refund to the same sending address refused without identity verification, and the deposit visibly routed onward to a KuCoin wallet before the user was told of the flag. Funds were returned only after full KYC. Source: kycnot.me/service/quickex, bitcointalk.org

Countervailing evidence: KYCnot.me rates the service Verified after three passed checks, including two test swaps and an anonymous Telegram approach in which support offered the free pre-deposit AML check that guarantees no KYC. Thirty-three user ratings average 4.5 out of 5 and support responsiveness is rated positively. One verification step remains pending over unclear handling of KYC documents received by email. Operational and structural notes: Monero deposits require twelve confirmations, slower than most competitors. The platform is operated by Blockex Lab Corp in Panama while Angel Venture Partners Limited in the Seychelles holds the intellectual property, and law enforcement requests are handled through a published dedicated procedure. The service is unavailable to anyone located in or acting from the EU or EEA. Source: quickex.io/docs/terms-of-use, quickex.io law enforcement guide
